Waistbead refund & exchange policy

At Ori Asé Waistbeads, each strand is designed and handmade with deep intention, care, and craftsmanship. As a one-woman business, every waistbead is personally strung, styled, and prepared by hand, making each piece truly one of one.
Because of the handmade and semi-permanent nature of our products, the following refund and exchange guidelines apply:
1. All Sales Are Final at the Time of Tying.
Due to the hygienic and spiritual nature of waistbeads, no refunds or exchanges are allowed after the beads have been tied and worn, whether at a vendor show or after purchase. We do not re-sell or re-use returned beads.
2. Refunds or Replacements – Within 3 Days of Purchase (Unused Only)
If your waistbeads have not yet been tied or worn, you may request a replacement or store credit (no cash refunds) within 3 calendar days of receiving your item.
To qualify:
The beads must be unused, unworn, and in original condition.
Requests must be made via email or direct message with proof of purchase.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping, if applicable.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
We take pride in our quality, but if you receive a waistbead that is visibly damaged or defective upon arrival (e.g., broken string or chipped bead), please notify us within 48 hours of delivery for a replacement or repair.
Photos must be provided to assess the issue. Damage caused by mishandling, improper tying, or wear and tear is not covered.
4. Exclusions from Refunds or Replacements
The following are not eligible for refunds or exchanges:
- Beads that have already been tied or worn
- Custom orders or personalized designs
- Lost items
- Damage due to rough handling, pulling, or misuse
- Spiritual or energetic “releases” (waistbeads falling off naturally are often a sign of release)
5. On-Site Tying Services
Tying services provided at vendor shows are done with care and precision. Once beads are tied on, they are considered final sale. Please double-check placement and tightness before finalizing the tie.
6. Handmade Disclaimer
Each waistbead is made by hand, which means slight variations in bead pattern, shape, or color may occur. This is part of the handmade charm and not considered a defect.
7. Spiritual Releases
Waistbeads may fall off as a spiritual sign of release. These are not considered defects. However, we honor these moments and offer a 15% discount on your next strand when you share your release story with us.

Order number or date of purchase
Description of the issue
Photo evidence if needed
Preferred resolution (replacement or store credit)
